About Lillory

Built inside a real tutoring practice, not a boardroom.

Lillory is operated by Lillory LLC, a Minnesota company led by Gabe Michalski, who also runs a working tutoring practice for children with dyslexia and struggling readers. It was built with the tutors in that practice, because they needed it: joyful daily practice between sessions, and progress a parent could see without translation.

Why it is honest

The people who built this sit across the table from real families every week. Overpromising to a parent of a struggling reader is not a growth strategy here. It is a person we will see again on Thursday.

Why it is a garden

The children we serve have usually been through enough red marks. Every mastered sound becomes a flower that never wilts, and nothing in the world punishes a week away.

Why measurement is strict

Because the alternative is a chart that flatters. Progress is only counted on brand-new words across separate days, and the whole method is public.

Where it stands today

A private pilot with working tutors, and with families who use Lillory at home on their own. No tutor is required. The honest numbers, including the ones that are still zero, are on the early access page.
