How do you show parents real progress without drowning them in charts?

Parents decide whether tutoring continues, and they decide based on what they can see. A wall of data reads as noise. No data reads as nothing.

What do you put in front of them at a check in? One number, one story, work samples side by side, a recording from month one next to month three? What made a parent relax?
